Embrace the flaws in life, for it challenges you to grow, and results in beauty.

I am a woodworker who truly has a passion for discovering the beauty buried deep in each piece of wood. It takes a lot of work to unearth the wood grain from roughsawn lumber from the mill. But once I get a glimpse of what is underneath the roughsawn marked surface, the excitement starts to happen with what piece of furniture would best fit this specific piece of wood and display the unique and colorful wood grain. I typically strive to keep the live edge on each piece of wood, since it brings another organic dimension into a room that people connect with. The next exciting element is finding what customer would benefit most by this particular piece of furniture. It is a rewarding process of connecting beautifully handmade furniture with people who need something different than what you can find in a store. And at that point the furniture goes beyond function since it has a background and a story to share with anyone who sees it for the first time.
